I'm sharing a portion of my latest newsletter with you, in case you're interested...........
This time I'm greeting you from my native Ecuador and I want to share some photos taken during our last two hummingbird photography tours and the extension to the Amazon in search of the enigmatic Fiery Topaz.
When Nate and I designed this tour, we focused on creating a very accessible and relaxed experience that would allow us to photograph several hummingbird species from different habitats, and I think it was a complete success.
With a limited group of only four people, this workshop was ideal for practicing innovative photographic techniques, such as multi-flash macro photography of hummingbirds, while sharing tips and perfecting our photographic skills.
In addition to the dozens of hummingbirds we photographed, we also got some very good pictures of toucans, tanagers, trogons, etc., since the lodges we used had excellent banana feeders and hiding places.
The photos I'm sharing with you this time are not only mine, but also those of my friend Julie Goetz and Scott Baxter, whom I thank for their help.
I'm also happy to tell you that I finally have my camera back, and it arrived just in time for the Fiery Topaz extension. This is one of the most beautiful hummingbirds in the world, and one that everyone wants to photograph.
Wow, these are some amazing images. You've really captured their iridescence and the movement! I love the Velvet-purple Coronet and Peruvian-racket Tailed.

Some spectacular images of birds from my favourite country for bird photography.
FYI: You labelled the 1st bird incorrectly, likely a typo.
Cheers,
Jason
Thank you so much, I changed the order of the photos at the last minute and forgot to update the name.
