My Photoshop (27.3.0) stopped showing the bottom info bar with several options such as file size, current tool etc. How do I restore it?

You may be in a different screen mode. Press the "F" key to navigate the different screen modes.
You may also try resetting your (saved?) workspace.

Shasoc's idea sounds right on, ABQ.
Ps>View>Screen Mode; choices are
Standard Screen Mode
Full Screen Mode With Menu Bar
Full Screen Mode
...invoked via the F key which loops through continuously.
Standard Screen Mode is the only of the three modes that display one of the 14 different bits of available file info in the bottom border of the canvas.
