Im excited to share a shot of an Amur leopard I captured last month. This critically endangered species is native to the Russian Far East, and I was fortunate to photograph it in a protected reserve area near the Sikhote-Alin mountains.
This ones in full color, highlighting the warm tones of its fur against the natural habitat. I shot it with a Nikon Z8 and Sigma 150-600mm Sport, handholding most of the shots and focusing on sharp detail in the eyes and rosettes. It's easily my proudest shot.
Thanks for looking!

Thank you! They are a super cool cat species that is unfortunately extremely endangered. I spent 5 days at the reserve and this was my only sighting. Very secretive!
Thank you! I definitely have more photos to show, but unfortunately there won't be any new ones for a while; I'm selling my wildlife kit on here to help pay for my dog's cancer surgery. But once she's better, I'll be looking into the OM-1. ALOT lighter lol
