Got my A7V in december and I like it alot.
+ Be able to program buttons, for bumping up fps (30fps) and for pre capture etc. are great features.
My R5II can't do that.
+ Great dynamic range and latitude when PP RAW files.
+ 4k50/60p video oversampled from 7k recording on SDXC Card.
Bought the FE400-800 and it's a great combo with A7V (even with 1,4xTC attached if there is enough light).

The photo that everyone wants to see. Yes, I missed focus, but the distortion in the wings is what I meant.
Out of the 2600 photos I took this morning, this is the worst.
Maybe 20 photos had enough distortion that it was instantly seen.
There were a few others that I knew it was there, but it didn't really bother me.
Electronic shutter, 1/4000, mostly f7.1 or f8, auto iso.

That seems to have seen some severe level of post processing. As in maybe a deal too much?
I'm guessing that you are thinking about the 3rd photo.
The bird in flight was slightly out of the focal plain, so I felt it needed a boost.
That's the only photo of the 3 that I ran Topaz Sharpen on.
I probably could have reduced it a bit, or masked off just the bird in flight, but I didn't feel it was all that important.
Here's a side by side of that photo, before sharpening, and then the same photo with sharpening applied.

Yeah, makes sense, pity about the focus. I can perfectly understand why you were tempted to rescue the shot. For me that was about two bridges to far:-D Also IMHO unnecessary, as the other shots are plenty nice. Resorting to AI for the third IMHO devalues the others.
It's obvious to me that based on the photos posted in the thread so far, the capabilities of my A7V are totally beyond my own.
Nice shots guys, thanks for sharing.

I guess that's where we differ. You see it as devaluing the image, I see it as a tool to be used as I see fit. (for my image)
Neither is right or wrong, just differing points of view.
