p.1 #1 · Great Blue Heron family

A tip of the hat to all who helped me with my blown sky in the PP forum. I have been experimenting with both exposure and PP procedures. I think I am understanding the post options better. I think I am at least moving in the right direction now.

Thanks to all!

Jerry

Great shot! I would suggest doing a light 'burn' on the two bright highlight areas in the crook of the foreground GBH neck -- just enough to match the background clouds.
Excellent image, regardless.

Thank you Joe - Shooting while we are in FL is the only thing keeping me sane

Good pickup Greg, thanks! I agree. Looking forward to getting back to CT in a few weeks and spending some serious time going through my shots from here. It will be a great opportunity to improve my PP techniques. Fortunately one of my sons is VERY proficient in PS so I have a handy resource to help me.
