Grackles are so pretty! I was out shooting at our local nature study area and there were several flying around. I was always on the wrong side of the light to get such magnificent color though.
Nice ones, Morris. You really nailed the colors on the Grackle.
Grackles crack me up. The females are so brazen they will walk right beside a roaring lawn mower, and the males, when not chasing some aloof female, are always staring up at the sky as though they're looking for Jesus to return.

John
Thank you John,
That stup and the tree trunk that fell over are on the side of a hill and lots of birds feed on the insects that eat them.

I agree with John morris! The Grackle is a highly underrated bird. Yes you have captured it in "thee" correct light!
Well done!
Dan
Thank you Dan,
The Grackle is very pretty when you get the correct light on them

I have always been attracted to the hidden colors on the Grackle and I love their eyes! Nice shimmer
Now that light on the Mrs is exceptional IMO, really flatters her and you nailed the processing of it
Karl
Thank you Karl,
For the duck, I had the exposure out of the camera and only needed to crop for composition and sharpen

Thank you Greg,
I think the Grackles know how fast they can exit when they need to
