That be a good-sized catch, Tony! Looks like those pincers could do some damage if they got latched on.

The otter seemed to avoid them and even ended up eating the pincers, shell and all.

Nice catch Tony.
If I had water nearby with crabs that look like that, I'd be busy with a crab net instead of a camera!

Thanks Greg. You can bet that humans are taking thousands more than the otters. In addition to all the crab traps out here, I also see people with lights in the middle of the night at low tide getting crabs.
