Gawd I love kingfishers. But question: 1 looks over sharpened to me. Am I on to something?

I agree, but it is a result of exporting a small file from DXO to FM. The original looks fine.

I would prefer these photos if they all had the brighter blue I feel like only the first one has that blue and the other one is more drab
