I had some frustration and fun trying to capture some little ones in flight !

( Note the last 3 are in sequence - perched blue bird , launch and flight . For those that are wondering , the colored strip in the background is part of my neighbors porch. The dark background is the dark screen on the porch. I actually like what it adds to the picture. I blurred it a bit. )
Ha, #4 is like a paratrooper bailing out and hoping the shoot(wings) open!
You did fine capturing these with a camera that does not have precapture.
#1 should make for a nice wall hanger IMO, that is sheer beauty and elegance Birdie
The golden bar works nicely with your Bluebirds
1 4 and 5 for me out of this flighty set Birdie! Owning the same camera body, I understand the challenges, yet when you do manage to get it right, those 61mp sure do work there magic. Nice work!

Thanks Eric. I totally agree , it might not be the latest and greatest camera, but I still love it despite some of the current missing features.
