last year i was able to get some pictures of baby geese for the first time. i see geese in the winter and up til mid spring. when it's time to nest they go to where i can't see them. last year we had a dry spring and early summer. much of the water dried up and only the deeper water sites were left for them to swim in. several times i was able to get some pictures of the swans with their babies.
