p.1 #2 · Voightlander 28mm APO on Nikon Zf vs. Leica Q3 28mm
A friend has a Q3 (currently in for warranty service due to spontaneous unexplained shutdowns); the images from his Q3 are very nice. I have the VZ 28/2 Apo. The Q3's 28mm (actually about 26mm focal length) has fairly pronounced irregular barrel distortion which the Leica system (or the raw converter) automatically corrects. The VZ 28/2 Apo does not require distortion correction for most scenes, including straight line scenes like architecture shots. I like 28mm a lot, but need other fields of view on hand. I'd rather have interchangeable lenses, even at the cost of increased camera body size.
