I've enjoyed being able to be very close to large numbers of ducks at Oakland Lake during our recent record setting cold spell. Oakland Lake always has some open water as it's spring fed by 55f water resulting in the west end of the lake always being open and the place where water fowl goes when all the other lakes freeze over. It's also sheltered by tall hills on the West, North and South so there is much less wind there, a delight for both the birds and us humans. In this set I take advantage of knowing the birds will fly in and out of the small liquid part of the lake to take frame filling flight images.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris
