I do believe you are correct. The bright green is characteristic of mating season.

Nice job with the whites and reflections. If you keep photographing birds in time you will learn there names and even better if you lean there behaviour as this will allow for more compelling images.

Thanks Morris,
I found the lighting very challenging. Its fun shooting them but other than the same birds I see at the wetlands I don't think I'll ever be proficient in identifying them
I just enjoy the shooting.

This is really nice. I think the reflection really adds to it. I'm trying to train myself to look for and account for that more.
