Hi John, Four different coyotes. And you are correct that one is a female, I shot her last spring when she was hunting for her pups. She had a den about a mile from where I took the images. I think right now is their breeding season. Pups to come. Thanks again I appreciate it.
The only time I have experienced this is when I took my dog out that really looked much like a coyote to a field that had mice. She reared back and did this arched leap and pinned down a mouse much to my surprise!!
This much be a blast to watch and shoot these images, really fine captures buddy

As much as I love all the snow shots, #'s 9 & 10 are my picks -- I love the colors and the body positions in both of those.

Thanks Eric - I agree, they get so focused on hunting it's amazing. I really like their facial expressions. Kinda wish I had a camera with pre-capture but I'm too cheap to upgrade. Thanks again I appreciate it.
