This is the same hawk I already posted photos of. This time it images in the trees far from me and this required larger than desirable crops yet the results are good so I'm sharing.

This is a really nice job of nailing focus in very challenging conditions.
It's really amazing that they don't destroy their wing feathers in such situations.
Nice job of capturing these action shots. The second shot is an excellent action capture.

+1 on what Greg has said, great job of you and your camera staying on subject with all those distractions.

Thank you Greg,

There is a decent amount of space from the side the birds were flying into yet I agree flying into that hole takes skill. What our cameras can do today is simply amazing.

The standard setup that I've shared with many Fuji users dose not work in a situation like this. I made a simple change for tight quarters and that did the trick and I've shared that change.
