Were there a lot of other photographers there that day? On days like this you usually have to fight for a clean angle.
Thanks Dan, the light show was pure luck There have been times when it has looked promising and then it turns out to be total bust During sunset at this spot I was the only one but to the left of the sea stack there were quite a few wedding photographers and few others doing family portraits. This corner where these pictures were taken form, I was the only one out there.

Thanks Jacob, the light of the rocks really anchors the foreground. To be honest, the light was so amazing that it would be impossible to get a bad shot.
