I think that strength is in numbers for the geese. Single one out and it's lights out for the goose!

Thank you Karl! Yes, there's about 25,000 geese and 5-6 eagles lol

nice set of action photos. if the eagle had been successful, would he have knocked the goose out of the sky and finished the kill. is a bald eagle strong enough to fly with a full grown goose in its talons?

Thank you! Where I see the eagles, they will generally eat on the ground. Although I’ve personally never seen them fly with a goose, I have seen them take ducks/coots up to a tree limb for eating.
