At 20f, the water fowl know they can find open fresh water at the west end of Oakland Lake here in New York City as the lake is spring fed by nice warm 55f spring water. That same spot is sheltered by tall hills with only the east end open so it feels better to both the birds and us humans.

I'm a sucker for the Shoveler image, one of my fav quackers

Interesting look to the Woodie desaturated, it works well

Nice different look at the Goose, sure makes that long neck look diminished!

I like the first best Morris, but the last one gets my comedic value award, it just makes me smile.

Ya know, when I saw your thread title, I thought back to my competitive aerobatics' days, and how the old joke about a bounced landing was to only judge the last one.
