Not the Country I remember "M-T". I am very happy Vietnam has become prosperous. Where is the temple located? I served in the far north of the then South Vietnam.
Wonderful images.

Thanks!

Yeah, I know someone who visited Vietnam about nine years ago. She was telling me about Hanoi and it's DRASTICALLY different now than "back then." Same thing goes for Sapa and I imagine most of the country.

The temple was located in Hue. Central Vietnam, about two hour train ride from Da Nang.

Thanks! Also, VERY lovely images of Lofoten in the other thread. I was there two years ago. Three-week road trip from Tromso and back. Such a wonderful country. I loved that the hikes weren't difficult at all but the views at the top were amazing.

I recognized it almost immediately. Even after 58 years!
Thanks!

Beautiful night scenes, however image #1 stands out for me due to the impressive temple in Hue but also the cleanliness of the image.
Image #2 on my display, lacks sharpness in the lights, mostly of the bridge. Image #3 has too many reflections and lack of sharpness of the light stars which leads to a very busy image.

Thanks for the feedback!

With regards to #2, what do you think might be the cause of that? Since only a portion of the image lacks sharpness, I am thinking it's more gear-related than technique? Or maybe I needed to stop down a bit more to get everything sharp? Just trying to think if I could've done anything different. From what I remember, I took this picture on a rocky surface on the river. And all the lights (e.g. bridge, dragon, etc.) were constantly changing/moving.

With regards to #3, I see your point about the lack of sharpness with the light stars. I assume you mean by "lack of sharpness," you mean non-defined edges. I wonder if that's a lens issue.

They look good! Flares are a little accentuated, but there's only so much you can do there. I would be interested to see how the first image looks as a standard 2x3.
