I love covered bridges, especially in the Winter. This early morning sun had this side lit casting great shadows on the weathered wood and snow. It was frigid! The water looked almost black. The brush was covered in a "hoar frost" on 1 side of the creek only..the air "crackled". I was told later that this was due to ice crystals forming in the air.

It is brother! Southern Pennsylvania is loaded with covered bridges.
I am processing a bunch of them I took many years ago but never really "finished".
