Sweat bees are also metallic green (at least on the front half) like the orchid bees in my other post, and also pretty zippy, I generally find them perched more than in flight, where the orchid bees never seem to sit still for long.

A mild winter has kept the Porter Weed and other hardier flowers blooming in central FL this year, which seems to have kept some of the butterflies like this skipper around.

I always thought a sweat bee to be the same as a hover bee but you just showed me wrong Nice work on these small wonders, #5 still looks intimidating to me!!
