The first photo reminds me of the scene of the predator's blood from the movie "Predator" (the Arnold one). Indeed, the place where wild things are. Nicely done in IR.

There's an ethereal, detached quality to these. They're unique and I dig it. They almost feel like double exposures of different images overlaid on top of one another.

Fairchild Botanical Gardens does this special night lighting for the holidays and the combination of light sources and infra red rendering give it that etheral quality. Yes, it was a single exposure.
