Used it even at -30C, one keep warm under a jacket (inner pocket) and swapped every hour or so (walking, so it was around 40-50, less than 100 pictures per hour). Much better than FW50 (had one shooting session around -25C and had to swap it every 15-20 shots - warm place although restore some of the charge) but could be better. Didn't remember how long it last 'cause it was all day walking (I got inside to coffee, lunch or museums).
For -10C or warmer I didn't care much too, just have spare in the warm pocket.
Camera/lens condensation is thing to worry more.

Yes, the key is to realize that when a battery goes dead in cold weather, it is not really depleted. I just needs to be warmed up again. The battery grip is really useful in these scenarios, as you can leave your camera on the tripod and just pull out the battery cassette from the grip and swap them. Warm them back up, under your coat and repeat as needed. Total number of shots possible from a battery is similar to regular shooting, but with this rotation.

I use a iniu 100w powerbank to power up a sony camera shooting 4k 60p videos for 8+hr. Might be the easier solution than worrying about switching batteries.
