p.1 #1 · Duckies against the rules of light .... lack of it
Hello and Happy New Year to all
I didn't get out much last year, many reasons and not all good ones
So it's time to get back in the game, lots to learn this year on my list. Never fails, you get some new gear and here in Ohio the light switch gets turned off! The sun was supposed to breakthrough around noon, I headed out for that promise only to spend the entire time in gloom, no light, no contrast no glimmer just not pretty at all
So what does one do with all the images, go through and find something of interest in learn more about processing and realize again just how important light is to an image, the quality of light that is.
Here are a few salvaged, was on a mission to find a bunch of flying ducks, well ended up mostly with floating ducks and a limited variety but still great to be out
C&C is always appreciated, call 'em how you see 'em

Nice work Karl, sometimes you just have to make that lemonade and yours turned out nice and refreshing.
Now you know why I often find myself out in that harsh light, ya work with what you're given, heh.
That snowbank makes that eye really stand out, I normally wouldn't go for that partially obstructed look but the way it follows the curves on the duck really works well here.
You are making that new lens look good too, stop tempting me already, you're giving me GAS.

A credit to your skill set, when you have so much working against you. There will be better days my friend. Get that gear ready and we have to go when we get the light.
