p.1 #1 · Godox IT-32 with RX1riii

I’ve gotten the IT-32 for my Rx1riii. size make sense on it and it allows to disconnect and shoot wireless. Much smaller and light than my sony commander and hvl-f28rm.

I liked the fact it worked with Sony native in camera flash menu on my A1ii so tried that menu my RX1Riii. However on my RX it doesn’t work. On my a1ii you can control most parameter from the camera flash reg set menu. No such luck on my rx.

Anyone has way to send Sony tech support a note? Seems like a bug in the camera. My sony hvl-f28 works perfectly with this menu on both camera.

Thanks

This is a limitation on Godox’s side, not Sony’s. The iT32 and X5 fully support Canon’s in-camera flash control, whereas the X5 does not provide the same level of compatibility with Nikon or Sony systems. This likely indicates that Godox does not yet have full access to, or implementation of, Sony’s flash communication protocols.

I agree with hiepphotog. That's an issue with the flash, not the camera. It's not Sony's responsibility to make a third party flash work the same as a Sony flash.

Thanks for you answer. Just find it weird that it works perfectly on my A1ii. I’ve signaled it to godox. Let’s see.

I also wrote to the Godox support asking for RX1R III support. Hope it will help.
