50mm is nice FL but it is not wide - at least not to me.
I have 40G and I love it, but neither it is wide. Depends on what and where you shoot, and your personal preferences, but I think that the traditional pair of 35mm and 85mm is very balanced.
I assume we will see a Viltrox 35 EVO relatively soon; in the interim, the Samyang 35/2.8 is small and decent, and the Samyang 35/1.8 gets excellent reviews. both very light and cheap. Ive used the 2.8 but not the 1.8.
Between the two you mentioned, the 50/2 seems to get better reviews, but I would agree with an earlier poster; its too close to 85 and you'd want wider
Just a quick note, the original Zony 35/2.8 was first way overpriced and after that it has come way underrated lens. Current second hand prices are quite ok even compared to the cheaper third party options. Plenty of good alternatives for Sony!
