Thanks Douglas Every time I go I find myself needing longer glass. This time I had my 500mm with me but without the ability of teleconverters it made some targets (the geese in particular) very hard to get any level of detail on. I will perhaps try and save up for the 400-800mm for next year's trip although at December time light can be quite limiting.
