A couple of days ago I started a thread on why use Flikar to post photos.
No one has responded with an answer that helps me out. I just looked again and all I can find as far as posting a photo is a button where I add a web address for a photo to add while responding to a post.
Is there a way to post a photo by just using a jpeg I already have?
As much as I might like to be able to make use of such a feature, I'm not aware of any way to directly embed a JPG file into an FM post. Technically, doing that would require that FM upload and host [a copy of] that image itself. That is an expensive service for a website to provide, hence the Upload and Sell membership subscription at FM.
You need a membership to upload directly and said membership also gives you the ability to sell gear to other members. Worth it to me, maybe not others.
