Nothing amazing, but I found it interesting. After the Broncos-Chiefs game last night, I watched the swarm of photographers hit the filed. Of course Canon and Nikon were prevalent, most with 70-200's or 24-70's attached -- what I'd expect to see. I'm sure there were probably a few Sonys too, but I did not notice them specifically. Too many of each to count, but I suspect close to similar numbers of N and C and maybe a few more Canons. But what surprised me was there were at least 2 photographers using the Fuji XH, probably 2S's but I couldn't tell for certain, one with the 16-55 and the other with the 8-16 in close. A lot of point and blast style being used with only a few using the finders with longer lenses in aim and fire mode.
It's nice to see Fuji in that space. I'm usually the only person using Fuji when I use the stuff for college commencement work. The 200F2 always stands out and people ask about it.

That lens is great for podium coverage as long as you can move back and forth. The separation you get out of it is great. Jack Flesher wrote:
Re 200/2 -- the IDEAL "runway" event lens IMHO

That lens is on my bucket list but it's still $4K on the used market (and probably worth it). But I've already got two other 200mm f2's for two other different systems and just don't actually need it (DO I?)
I am not getting another 200F2 until the Sigma one is native on Z mount. It's worth it to me and what I do. It's basically an outdoor college commencement mainstay. pasblues wrote:
