Well done, Morris! That's a funny sequence -- or at least your interpretation made it so.
In the second shot, I suspect that the male is simply waiting for his wife to make up her mind on where she wants to fly. Even though she said she didn't care, he knows better! (Many, many years of first hand experience on my part.)

My wife used to ask me what I want for dinner and give me three choices. Then I'd make a choice and and sometimes she would say try again. When that happened two times on the same evening, I asked her why she was asking me as she had made up her mind.
