Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my fellow FM’rs! I’ve been away for the last few months—life just managed to get in the way. In fact, I hadn’t even picked up my camera since my trip back in April. However, after a foggy spell last week, my wife encouraged me to head to the Arboretum to get some practice and find my rhythm again.
Being back behind the lens made me realize just how many images I still have sitting in my backlog. I visited Norway last summer and have been procrastinating on the post-processing entire album ever since. To get things started, here is a set from Lofoten.
Thanks for viewing and I welcome all comments and critiques!

Hamnøy- Spending a week in Reine gave me opportunity to photograph this location in various conditions.

Great to see you back, Parul, I was getting ready to drop you a PM! Your Norway set is a wonderful return to posting, you take me to places around the world I will never see in person. 1, 5, and 10 are my favorites.
O wow! what a location! I had to lookup Dragon's eye beach, as I thought you just named it.....dang, that's what it called. Thanks for the tour. All are great shots and it earns a vote from my end. Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays
Wonderful images. This is a place on my bucket list - problem is the bucket list keeps growing!
You have expertly captured some stunning scenes. Well done!

Thanks so much, Ross — that really means a lot to me. Your words truly made my day. I’ve missed being active here, and it feels great to be back and sharing again. I’m especially touched that the Norway set transported you a bit — that’s exactly why I love photography.
I really appreciate you taking the time to comment and pick favorites. Always value your encouragement and support.
Wishing you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year ahead!

Thanks Paul, it's always a bit hard to get into the groove after a bit. LR definitely had lots of updates and some new features. Some are very cool.

Wonderful series KC
Thanks Lofoten is so spectacular that it's really hard to get a bad image. Only issue in summer is 24 hour daylight which can be good and bad.

Very nice. That Dragon's eye is ominous.
Thanks Michael, The Dragon's eye image was very difficult to caputure. Sunset would have been ideal but when you are there for just few hours it's hard. But glad that I experienced that area.
Sharing image of Dragon's eye straight up and another eye like formation. Will add to the set.

Thanks Morris, The first image location is extremely popular. I met a local who was telling me that during winter time the bridge is packed with photographers. Something magical with red rorbuer with snow capped mountains.

wonderful set, makes me want to travel there tomorrow. Bruce
Thanks Bruce, if you do, you definitely will not regrate it. I hope you do get to travel to Lofoten.
It seems there are visuals that just connect with us at times, the entire scenery is inspiration and we just start to dissect it one area at a time and reduce it down to smaller areas.
I can see that you were in harmony with this visit, you were in your groove These are enticing to the eye, each one of them. Wonderful presentation, Congrats on your Feature earned win Parul
Best in 2026 to you and your outings
