Most of the Snow Geese and Sandhill Cranes were spending there days at the Bernardo Wildlife Area. The Cranes flew back to Bosque del Apache around sunset while the Snow Geese flew to Bosque before sunrise, stayed there till about 3pm and then returned to Bernardo for sunset. This provided the opportunity to photograph them in rather different environments by making the 30 minute drive between the two parks. Northern Harriers were harassing the Snow Geese at both locations.

6) This Snow Goose had enough of the harassment and chased the Northern Harrier out of town

Thank you Bruce,

I've been photographing snow geese for decades here in New York City and have never seen one go after a predator so I'm as surprised as you are.
