I have processed hundreds of orders on SmugMug over the previous two years. The customer places an order, they get pushed to me for proofing, the Lightroom plugin syncs the order down and then back up. No big deal and the workflow is worth it.
A few months ago I noticed that an order did not sync. I didn't think much of it, I processed it manually by uploading the edited images to SmugMug's website. I figured whatever "issue" was at hand would be fixed either server side or via a plugin update.
Fast forward to this week. I now have dozens of orders coming in and they will not sync. I click the "Sync Orders" button the the Publish Services and nothing happens.
I've been exchanging emails with SmugMug's support for 48 hours now. I dug into a log file and found multiple "404" errors everytime the API makes a GET call. The support rep opened a "bug" for my issue.
But I just wanted to know, has anyone else seen this? The plugin works great for creating galleries and uploading photos. From what I can tell, it is only the syncing of orders that is broken.
I assume:
1) I am not the only customer that uses this
2) If many/all customers are seeing this issue, it would be a known issue and would have been fixed months ago.
I've tried de-authorizing and re-authorizing the plugin. I've changed DNS and flushed my DNS cache as well. I've reinstalled the plugin multiple times.
Or, worded otherwise, has anyone successfully received an order via SmugMug and then it synced into "Proofing" in Lightroom Classic via the SmugMug plugin?
