Getting up at 5am for sunrise was a was as this was 7am NY time and I stayed on NY time the entire trip. Early to bed and early to rise makes for great sunrise opportunities :-} For those of you that have been to Bosque del Apache NWR I set up about 50 yards to the left of the Flight Deck. The view of the North Pond is great there and while this shooting into the sun the side light and backlight work great for this time of day.
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris

Are you still there? I am not up to speed on current conditions this year, but last year, Bernardo was better than bosque, its just a few mins up the interstate.

Tank you Aditya,
We have been home for about a week. It was a fantastic trip. The snow geese and sandhills were flying back and forth between the two parks with most of them at Bosque in the morning and the majority of them at Bernardo for sunset.

Great photos and a well done. It was a great time meeting you and your wife. I am still looking at 1,000's of photos from our trip.
Thank you Morrie,
It was a pleasure meeting you and Louie at Bosque. I finished processing images from Bosque and Bernardo as well as the VLA yesterday and plan to start working on White Sands soon. It was a wonderful trip and my second day at Bosque was my best single day of photography ever.
