p.2 #9 · Wild Patagonia, Pumas, Penguins and more.
I've lurked on Fred Miranda for a while - mainly nosing at the m43 forum - but I made an account specifically to say that the puma and guanaco image is exemplary. Fortunate timing meeting photographic skill. Very impressed, very envious 😄

The first one is absolutely sick action, but can benefit from some shading and grading of the light in post. Perhaps I am the exception, but when I look at it my eye tends to wander.
The grebe on the other side is the diametrical opposite. Zero action but the light is perfect - bright where it needs to be, dark elsewhere. Whether this as actual light or the result of skilled PP is immaterial (to me).
The widgeons are amazing too. I typically don't like duck shots because they are either the duck floating or flexing its wings after a bath. This one is very different. There is this tenderness to the scene, and the ruffled feathers on the female just add to that sensation.

Wow, Javier!
Another impressive series of yours. They’re all great, but the first one certainly takes the crown. I guess that’s exactly what they mean when they say “being at the right place at the right time” (and being prepared!). Congrats and thanks for sharing,
