Artist is Karen Pollard. She has numerous murals on buildings in the town next to me.
The story of how I got to the 2nd floor office to shoot the office level image is a great story but to lengthy to post. Thanks to The Federated Charities of Maryland.

Dear Dan,
Photo number two really appeals to me and made me want to write to you. For me, the second version has the strongest composition. It frames the subject very well, thoughtfully seen and executed, and still shows a bit of what’s around it, but not so much that it becomes documentary. It leaves room for personal interpretation. The tighter framing, on the other hand, takes that space away from the story, no longer shows your personal handwriting, but only the subject itself, and feels purely geometric. That’s why photo number two is my favorite.
Having public exhibition spaces like this here and there would be wonderful. In Germany, something like that is unfortunately unthinkable. People are too attached to order, and everything has to pass through multiple bureaucratic authorities. Where would we end up if we allowed a bit more humanity to appear in our cities?
I really like it a lot. Both the subject and the photographer.

The brick in this wall was hand made. If you look closely you will see some "distortion" (compression)in the clay that made the bricks. "Wavy and compressed.

I love that last image -- art of art! Kudos.
As I do also "GE"! Through an old wavy glass window pane even! The building is 200 years old.
Thanks!

Thank you for your assessment Stefan! I agree about #2 also. That is why I "pulled back" to include some of the person's office in the frame but not too much to distract the viewer from the subject. I took #1 and #3 more for "looking up" and a straight on heavy crop just for the beauty.
Thanks!
Dan
