New Mexico is called the Enchanted Land and this day at Bosque del Apache lived up to the state's nickname providing me with what I think was my best single day of photography and nature ever. The day started out very cold at about 20 f with fog and frost on the vegetation and ended with the super moon rising. These are top picks from the wonderful December 4, 2025 yet there are others that I've shared already that would be in this post if I did not want to limit it to new images..
Comments and suggestions welcome,
Morris

Thank you John,
Bosque is an amazing place. If you have not been there The last week of November - the first few weeks of December I highly recommend going. We also stopped at the Very Large Array which was fascinating and White Sands NP with it's stunning beauty.
This is an amazing set, Morris. The lighting is just wonderful, with No's 6, 9 & 10 being my favorites.
Number 9 should be a wall mural -- simply stunning image!
Nice work as always -- voted for this set.

I have a feeling that being there is quite inspirational and that feeling took you over, in a good way Morris.
You captured the subjects and the environment and did not over emphasize either, so in harmony as you were they are represented here
Wonderful photography, glad you had a magical encounter!
Karl
Thank you Karl,
I've been in a bit of a rut that I've broken out of. I met a young photographer and her reactions to my photography has helped me get out of the rut and then amazing Bosque has allowed me to fully express what I was seeing.
