I will be replacing a NEC PA241w soon some faint yellowish lines most noticeable when editing blue or white colors, seeing a green or eggshell tint. I have been looking at the Asus ProArt PA279CRV and the BenQ Pro PD2732U. I purchased the NEC from a FM member who lived in the area in I think 2014 or 2015 for $450.00 USD. For my needs I am looking at budget friendly, not a NEC or Eizo. So far I am leaning toward the BenQ from the various reviews. One major difference in the budget monitors is in the calibration. These budget monitors if they have manual calibration available is software calibration through the graphics card vs hardware calibration through LUT's in the monitor itself. It seems the hardware calibration is more accurate and would be more reliable especially if editing to print.
