Nice Idea and processing. But this is the sort of shot that just cries from the ability to shift instead of pointing the camera up. A view camera or TS lens would make it feel so much more natural.

I don't recall really pointing the camera up much, but you're right a TS lens or camera with movements would get things really straight. I used an 18mm lens and that probably distorted things a bit. Used to have a 24mm TS lens that I sold—bummer, would have been perfect for this shot!
Beautiful shot, Scott. Positioning the tree with the light clouds behind really sets it off nicely. I don't get any sense of WA distortion when viewing this.

I appreciate it, thank you Brent! I guess at the time I framed that subconsciously but I agree it helps create a nice frame and adds to the drama and contrast.
