Ross: Superb imagery. It is no small feat to create work of genuine impact in a location so exhaustively photographed, yet you manage it. The images also stir many memories of my favourite US National Park.
Very meaningful feedback for me, Rajan, I really appreciate you telling me that!

Thanks for the shot out Ross. Beautiful images! If I had a little to do to inspire you, I'm very happy about that. Now let's go shoot White Sands in New Mexico.
Thank you, Greg! Yes, your images have absolutely inspired me.
Wonderful set! When I got to the third I let out a verbal, "Oh wow!" Just love the soft feel, yet sharp photo.
Looks like you lucked out with some good wind to take care of foot prints. Hard to pick a favorite. Really makes me want to go back - I only got a couple of good ones there and they include people.

Many thanks for telling me that, Jim! #3 is one of my favorites because of that gentle light and pastel warm & cool tones, plus the ghostly mountain layers in back. Yes, it can be tough to get clean dunes there for sure, lots of people head to the tallest dune section. I avoided that and was content hiking out to a more humble section that I still find beautiful, and had it all to myself.
I really appreciated the fact that, though you're already a very accomplished photographer, you shared that you needed to take your own visual journey to turn into photos what attracts you to the dunes.
...and also the decision to hike to a less well-travelled area and get these great shots there, unencumbered by others.

Good things to remember. Thanks!
Cedric, that’s a very thoughtful comment, thank you for expressing it! As I ponder what you said, I feel grateful to still be on a path of growing and learning and adapting, and I hope that continues the rest of my days.
Wow all are gallery class images I have tried twice to get good images at White Sands and failed to get anything worth keeping so understand a little bit about your struggles. It looks like you got it worked out perfectly Bruce

Ross, these are incredible.....missed out on so many amazing posts in past few months. I have been to DV but have never been able to capture anything worthy of posting. I agree with you about Greg and his dunes images. Beautiful work Happy New Year!
