p.1 #1 · Filter attachment for Nikon 26 and 40mm Lenses
It is possible to either attach a filter to the lens and then the lens hood to the filter or to attach the lens hood to the lens and then the filter to the lens hood. The instructions are unclear regarding which choice is correct. Any idea which is the best choice?
p.1 #2 · Filter attachment for Nikon 26 and 40mm Lenses
From the Nikon website:
"The HB-111 is a bayonet lens hood that protects the NIKKOR Z 26mm f/2.8 lens from lens flare while shooting. It also allows for the attachment of 52mm filters. When using a Circular Polarizing filter or NC filter, you must attach the filter to the HB-111 lens hood and not the lens itself. Only use one filter at a time. You can attach the LC-K108 lens cap to the lens hood to further protect the lens when not shooting. The HB-111 is supplied with the lens."
Looks like there are threads on outer portion of the hood to which you can attach a 52mm filter.
