Fair point, I was not looking at the Sigma due to size and cost.

Best for what? The Sigma is designed for astro work which has specific requirements like minimal coma and a fast aperture.

The best is probably the Sigma 15mm f1.4. Second best probably depends on what you're looking for. For example, the Sigma is the only AF fisheye for Sony I know of.
