Just some of the deals. Very good prices. Some of the cameras are eligible for an additional 10% off, upgrade discount.
My conversation with Canon Rep, Nikiyah, confirmed 10% discounts for at least the RP, R50 & R8 cameras.

Can you remind me how you get the upgrade pricing? Just call canon?
When you call Canon, tell the salesperson you have a serial # from an old, either outdated or non-working, Canon camera, and wanted to know if it applies to the upgrade. Can be film, P & S, or dslr.

A little birdie told me that at least in Canada, the R5II will receive an additional discount of a few hundred dollars for about a week starting on Friday.

Needs to be a Canon US or CA serial # or any country can do?
What's interesting to me is the RF 1200mm for $14k.

I believe it's just US, since it's Canon USA, and they offer a 1-year USA warranty. It's best to call tomorrow and speak with a Canon rep for verification.

I'm not seeing any crazy deals, will cyber Monday be better or have the BF prices just been in effect all week?
I'm looking for:
MacBook Air 13" M3 or M4 16gb 512SSD - it can be new or refurb. Best price I've seen so far is an M3 13" 16gb 512SSD refurb for $822 after tax. Any color will work as it's for an employee.
RF 85 VCM - I can get a new one for $1460, let me know if you see any better deals
WD Black SN850X 8TB - I was expecting to see deals close to $500....nothing close to that.

I haven't seen any decent storage deals for a while. I bought a couple WD Red Pro 18TB from B&H at around $16/TB but as you noted, zero discounts on the SN850X series...
Here in Canada the R5II dropped CA $300 to $4999 (approx. US $3575) until Dec. 4.

It looks like the price for flash storage is going nowhere but up from here. Prices have been creeping up for a couple years now as the rumor is the manufacturers purposely slowed production to get the prices up, and now I guess there's a huge demand for AI technology so there's technically a "shortage". You would think the Gen 4 PCIe would be going on sale since Gen 5 has been released, but prices keep climbing. The WD SN850X 8TB's could be had for $530 on sale during the last couple years, and the lowest I saw it on BF and CM was $679, Same with little SSD's like the Sandisk extreme V2. I use to buy 4TB's for $220, and now the lowest I've seen them was on sale for $309.
I guess will motivate me to get a NAS setup with spinners as I don't want to keep buying SSD's if prices continue to climb.

Unfortunately HDD prices also appear to be climbing. But at least the cost/TB is more reasonable, if you don't need SSD speed or physical durability.
Yeah I haven't followed HDD's but based on that article I linked above it's all climbing. I guess I really need to get a NAS setup soon.
I guess there are multiple factors involved, such as fewer actual manufacturers in the HDD space, overall demand for storage, inflation, tariffs, input costs, etc. I remember 10 years ago getting 8TB 'archive' drives for $99 on Black Friday. Yeah, those sucked due to use of shingled magnetic recording (SMR) technology... This year I noticed there were some sub $300 external HDD options in the 24TB range but I've become more picky about wanting to know exactly what HDD technology I'm buying and general hesitancy to put that much information on a 'reject' HDD that was redirected to the low-cost consumer market segment.

Black Friday is becoming a bit of a joke, Adorama sent me a thousand emails with same the deals as every other Friday. 😁
The impact of BF, CM, Boxing Day, etc., have been significantly diluted by all the 'in between' sales that pop up throughout the year. Vendors/brands seemingly try to coax consumer spending through 'preemptive strikes' to benefit themselves, for example Amazon's 'Prime Days', spending that otherwise might have been held until the more established sales periods.
I noticed the B&H Cyber Monday deals appeared to be mostly the same as the general Thanksgiving and Black Friday deals. That said, I was able to work out a pretty good discount on some Canon gear with a local vendor.
