Thanks!
My prior year of "Creative Cloud Photography Plan 1TB" ends on 11/23/25; the newly purchased subscription (on Adobe's site) says it ends on 11/20/26 - so Adobe is starting the new subscription right away and they don't add it onto my not-yet-over prior subscription.
Probably a phone call to Adobe CS would straighten that out. Obviously Adobe isn't automatically stacking subscriptions.
But Newegg sends you an Adobe license key...I wonder if you could buy an additional license and save the key number to use next year on 11/20/26 when the current subscription ends?
This is all the Newegg email (with the license key) said:

To Redeem Your Adobe Subscription Code
1. Go to https://redeem.adobe.com
2. Sign-in or create an Adobe account.
3. Enter the redemption code and click “Redeem code”.
4. Click “Add Payment method” for auto-renewal or “Remind Me Later”.
5. Click “Get Started”.
This code is non-refundable. The enclosed redemption code will not be replaced by Adobe or your retailer if it is lost or stolen, and cannot be redeemed for cash, or returned for credit.

There's no mention of an expiration date and I would think that once a license key is purchased it wouldn't just become null + void after a certain date without some kind of warning of that in Newegg's email. Maybe call Newegg to find out?
I'd like to create a genric Abodes account for this software. After the plan expires in a year will they go after you because the Egg gives them the personal info?

Generic account? This is a subscription. You aren't buying it outright. Adobe at least would want a name and your email - they'll want you to login - but aside from that? You want to be able to use their Customer Support if you're having a problem with the software, don't you?
My prior 1 year subscription I bought from Best Buy - BB isn't allowed to give any customer's credit card information to Adobe.
For the past 3 weeks whenever I launched Photoshop a pop-up would appear asking for credit card information because my subscription was about to end on 11/23/25. I would dismiss it and that was that. Obviously Best Buy didn't transmit any of my sensitive info to Adobe.

I just went to my Adobe Account page and under both my last subscription and the new one (I just bought this morning) there is a button that says "Redeem New Code" so apparently I should have logged into Adobe and gone to this page first; pressed the "Redeem New Code" button; filled it out and then my new subscription would have stacked (or been added) on top of my old subscription...
So maybe I'll buy another $85 subscription from Newegg...

Thanks for flagging this. Bought (even cheaper than last year IIRC) so I’ll be good through Feb 2027. Still despise the subscription model with a passion, but I haven’t found a better alternative, despite trying quite a few other editing applications.
