Updated to PS 2026 today and the free version of Google Nik plugins no longer seems to work. Can anyone confirm?
I use just a couple of features from Color Efex, if it is now dead it will be a bummer since I don't need 99 percent of the stuff DxO has shoved into the updates.

A while ago, the NIK plugins stopped working in Photoshop (for me) after a Windows update. As I remember (very foggy), I poked around and this happened for others. I believe that NIK works on it's own, but not from Photoshop. On my Windows 10 machine, everything seems ok (plugins work). If this sounds familiar, see if NIK works on it's own.

I had to manually copy the plug-ins from the previous installation to the 2026 installation. I don't use them very much, but AFAICT the Nik plug-ins work.

I discovered this week that neither PS 2025 or 2026 will allow Silverfast SRDx to be run as an action. Crashes PS every time. I get the feeling that to play in the modern plugin world where the subscription software is changing contantly to justify the subscription model, the smaller players are being left behind.

The original Nik plugins work fine in all versions of PS I've used, including 2025 & 2026. You just need to copy them into the right folder. When you first load the setup it sometimes selects the wrong year. Also you need to click on the + sign to include PS because it will likely select Bridge first.
