Does anyone have any insight on anywhere in the US that have this lens available? Unfortunately I sold my 90mm like an idiot assuming the release date of the 13th was accurate and here we are lol. I can get by with a couple of my other lenses in the meantime but do a lot of macro photography.

I just picked up my preorder from Hunt’s Photo and Video, based in the Boston area. You should give them a call and see whether they have any in stock across their more than half a dozen stores.

A strategy that usually works is to find a list of authorized Sony dealers and call each one until you find availability. I typically have had better luck with small retailers. This has always worked for me with new items that are difficult to find.

Good afternoon. I just listed an extra I have. Priced at what I paid. Please let me know if you are interested. Thanks!

Plenty of retailers in Australia with stock, but I assume you won't want to ship it to the other side of the world.

I'm contemplating if the move to the 100GM is worthwhile. I use my 90G almost daily but extremely rarely use it at 1:1 and never felt the need for more magnification.

I also work mostly in studio and the increased focal length is a negative.

Is there anything I'm missing that the GM offers over the G that would be useful?

I do lots mostly in-camera focus stacking on sticks of products.
