Very subdued pastels in the BG. #1 is the standout and if mine, I would try to pull out a little more shadows/detail in the face, beak and neck.
You might also consider darkening the BG to create separation from the subject.

Thank you Ted and Sreedhar,
I brought up the shadows a tiny bit using shadow/highlights for all 3. The second 2 needed a custom curve to get a better black point for contrast. I agree with both of you about the first and now it's even better :-}
