Hello
I am searching for the best lens in 24mm for the following, which one do you recommend?
-Landscape
-Street
-Sunstar (not specially the best lens ever made for sunstars but still producing beautiful sunstars)
-Sun flares resistant (I would hate to have ugly purple rays or green big ghosting)
-Nice bokeh when close to subject

I do love the 24MM GM. I think buying used it's a really good value. I cannot speak to sunstars as I wouldn't use those in my imagemaking. It's sharp, rendering is beuatiful, AF is fast.

I have the Sigma and the Sony. Optically they're very close, but Sigma has more distortion which, if you apply software correction, will eat some of the edge detail for lanscape use case. The Sigma is also a little lighter and feels a bit more premium in hand.
In the end, I decided to keep the Sony and sold the Sigma. The deciding factor was the extra programmable buttons on the Sony, which I have developed muscle memory for (by using other GM primes).

Thanks all.
So the majority is in favour of the GM 24mm.
Wouldn't it be too heavy on a A7R5 for street and travel?
I checked for some exemples of sunstar in the flicker group of the GM 24mm by filtering with the word sunstar, unfortunately they are not sharp and pointy like the samyang and I saw some ugly flares at f11. Do you have some good exemple of sunstars you took with this lens?

The 24 GM is one of my favorite GM lenses. Small, light, and as mentioned above just something special about it. I used it on my A7RV on a trip to Disneyland and loved everything about the combo. There are some sunstar photos if you want to take a look.

I use the 24mm GM for landscapes and the Sigma 24mm f3.5 for street. When I am shooting street photography compact size matters the most to me and, as a consequence, I decided (for me) there was no best one lens for both applications. However, personally I don't care about sun stars so I have no idea how they compare in that respect.

I use the Loxia 25 on the a7rv for landscapes and the 24gm for everything else.
If you don’t mind manual focus, the Loxia has a lot going for it. High image quality, small, light, and a bargain used. And it produces great sunstars.
