Crisp shots Eric. The last is quite the angle
Thanks Ted, I always associate looking up with positivity, heh, but what do I know? They say smiling releases happy endorphins and takes less muscles than a frown... I get a similar feeling looking up. I get whacky ideas sometimes, and it bleeds over into my shots, heh.

Hi Eric. All very nice. Man that's one large claw !!

Thanks John! Yeah, the male fiddlers here are pretty fun to watch. You'll find Stone Crab with similar looks in Florida but for entirely different reason, they let them harvest one claw and throw them back, because they can grow another. So you'll see one with a smaller claw during the growth phase. Crazy huh?

Looks like dinner is served Eric. Nice images. Look out for what might come down in the last image

Thanks Morris, not too many coconut bearing trees around here, got to go a little further south for those, heh. BUT...the palm fronds do fall a lot without notice, and they WILL slice you up a little if you're not paying attention!

Thank you kindly Birdie!
I must confess to using the hyperfocal distance scale on that ancient manual focus fisheye, and the tilty flippy screen on the A7RV for framing for that one and just had the camera literally sitting against the trunk pointing straight up.
