One irony is that I had a hard time picking from among several versions of that photograph, partly because moving water is never the same and partly because I made both vertical and horizontal versions. I don’t think I have shared the horizontal ones yet…

(I’m currently in Death Valley, where it seems we can experience winter, fall, and spring all at once. There’s a bit of snow high in the Panamint Range and a storm is due tonight; we saw new wildflowers yesterday, and I photographed colorful cottonwood tree foliaage in the mountains.)

Winter is great in Death Valley for sure! A lot different from Ohio winter
